Which is Better?

 

Which is Better? Is a series I made on my DeviantArt profile, where I take two productions (Be they TV show episodes, movies, internet videos, etc.) that have similar concepts and compare which one of the two is the better execution of said concepts. They’re really fun to make, and it gives me a good chance to work on my comparison skills. So, I decided to share them with you on my blog. Links to all of my WIB installments will be down below. My LEAST Favorite Community Episode

  Now I don’t think it needs to be said at this point, but Community is one of, if not the best sitcoms of all time. It’s also a show that doesn’t have that many episodes that fans actively dislike. Though, if you were to ask someone what their least favorite Community episode is, they’ll probably name something from the latter half of the show, usually from season 4. (So something like Intro to Felt Surrogacy, History 101, Conventions of Space & Time, etc.) Not my pick, though. Sesame Seeds (Episode 14): Gina Jefferson

  Hi everyone, and welcome back to Sesame Seeds, the series where we look at the progression of a Sesame Street character from humble beginnings to the present day. This is another episode I was really looking forward to, because it’s on my favorite human character, and one who doesn’t get nearly as talked about as much as she should: Gina Jefferson. Now, in the past, I’ve described Gina as the prettiest, most developed, most amazing cast member of Sesame Street, and all of that is still true to this day. But in this episode, like I usually do, I’m going to go into detail on why this is true. 11 Reasons Why The Barbie Movie Doesn't Work For Me

  (WARNING: This review WILL contain major spoilers, so if you haven’t seen it already, I suggest you do.) So, Barbie huh? I don’t think anyone was expecting Barbie to be the politically charged controversial hit that it was, especially not when it was alongside Oppenheimer.  I went into Barbie knowing nothing other than what the trailers showed me, and I was prepared to have a good time with another Mattel-related franchise. But when I finished the movie, something about it felt off to me, and I couldn’t really explain or articulate my feelings towards it. Now I know I already made a review of this movie, but those were my first impressions from seeing the movie for the first time. Now that a few months have passed, and I’ve had time to actually gather and ponder my thoughts, I wanted to make this updated review to explain my Barbie opinions in more detail. Now Barbie is one of those movies that tends to be seen as mostly black and white, as most people either love it or hate it. Me?
